Questions

Math Tutoring FAQs

Which Grade 10 math pathway should my child take?
It depends on where they are heading. Foundations and Pre-Calculus 10 keeps the door open to Pre-Calculus 11 and 12, which most university science and business programs expect. We will look at your child’s current marks and goals honestly before recommending a pathway.
My child is in Grade 11 but seems to be missing basics. Do we go back?
Usually yes, and it is faster than parents expect. A focused review of the specific missing pieces normally takes a few sessions, and it is the difference between memorising and understanding.
Do you help with elementary maths?
Yes, from Grade 1. Early number sense is one of the highest-value things to get right.
Is tutoring in person or online?
Both. In person at our Surrey centre, or online with the same tutors and the same structure.
